What kind of city does Munich want to be? The answer might
lie in the vision for the former Paketpost Quarter - a place that is set to
actively shape Munich’s future.
Covering 87,000 square meters, a vibrant new quarter is emerging where
living, culture, green spaces, and community come together. Designed by internationally renowned architecture firm Herzog & de
Meuron, the master plan includes the Paketposthalle, open to the public for the
first time, as well as two iconic towers standing at 155 meters tall - a new,
open space for the city and its people.
From the outset, this project has been shaped by the voices and visions of those most affected - users, residents, cultural institutions, entrepreneurs, urban planners, and elected representatives of the city council,
The goal: a place for everyone and everything.
The Paketpost Quarter presents a unique opportunity to actively shape Munich’s future - a project that preserves the city's heritage while reflecting the culture and innovative spirit of its people.

for daily life: cafés, restaurants, shopping, kindergartens, medical practices,
as well as art and culture. More space for people, more room for pedestrians and cyclists, more
meeting places, more greenery. A concept that promotes
sustainability, strengthens the community, and makes life easier and more
enjoyable.
Sustainability is at the core of this quarter. From solar energy to car-free green spaces, every detail is designed with environmental responsibility and community well-being in mind.
The result: a lively, sustainable neighborhood where people and nature thrive together.
